In February, our digital platform "E-world Community" was officially launched. The Community already counts more than 3,300 registered members and more than 300 exhibitors, and the number is constantly growing. In the event area of the platform, web sessions on current topics of the energy industry take place all year round. Since its launch, 39 web sessions have already been held on topics such as decarbonization and digitization of the industry, hydrogen, heat transition and electromobility. Almost 2,700 people registered for the past events. A record audience was set by the event "The Role of Guarantees of Origin and Certificates for the Development of a Clean Hydrogen Economy" on March 16, which registered over 200 participants.
In May, the Fiber Optic Forum entered its third round as part of E-world. The audience was able to follow the event as a livestream from Messe Essen via the Community. North Rhine-Westphalia's Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart opened the event and spoke alongside nine other speakers from business and associations about the opportunities and challenges of regional fibre-optic expansion.

The Career Forum launched this year for the first time as a purely digital format. From the beginning of March to the end of May, students, graduates and young professionals had the opportunity to make valuable contacts with companies in the industry and receive exclusive job offers via the Career Forum online platform. On April 13 and 14, participants could also look forward to an extensive program. On the first and second days of the program, around 300 participants learned about career paths in the energy industry, received valuable insights from industry representatives and heard testimonials from young professionals. Matchmaking sessions gave recruiters and applicants the opportunity to exchange ideas and get to know each other.
