E-world energy & water is the place for professional exchange among experts from the international energy industry. The expert forums with lectures and panel discussions have been an established part of the trade fair events for years. For the coming year, Europe's largest energy trade fair at Messe Essen will now present a new thematic orientation of these expert forums from May 4 to 6, 2021. With the "Trading", "Infrastructure" and "Customer Solutions" forums, the three major pillars of the sector will also move to the fore even more clearly in the program. This will improve the orientation in the programs, the planning of the fair visit and the orientation on site.
The Trading Forum will continue to focus on stock market events and energy procurement. In 2021, the focus will be on marketing strategies for renewables, (post) renewable energies promotion and emissions trading, among other things. The Infrastructure Forum will highlight infrastructures that are or will become relevant for the energy industry. The participants will discuss current and future requirements for networks, sector coupling, energy storage or fibre optic expansion.
New business models from micro power plants to digitalization
The creation of the Customer Solutions Forum takes into account an increasingly important area of the industry and trade fair: products and services in the B2B2C sector. The focus here is on new business models for energy suppliers, also with regard to the end customer market. This includes, for example, micro power plants on roofs or in basements, smart meters and digitalization.
All three expert forums are still placed in the middle of the trade fair. The program covers as broad a spectrum as possible of the topics that are currently of interest to exhibitors and visitors, thus promoting an intensive exchange. To ensure that this exchange can also take place on an international level, lectures on the expert forums will be held in English and German. Simultaneous translation into English will be provided for program items in German.
Call for papers is open: opportunity to participate
