Fincons Group showcases its innovative Meter to Cash platform for Energy and Utility companies

Milan, 16th June 2022 - Fincons Group, an international IT business consulting and system integration company with offices in Europe and the US, will be presenting its new platform at E-World 2022. A Cloud solution developed to support M2C (Meter to Cash) processes for the distribution and sale of electricity, gas, water and other products or services, will be available to view in demos at the Fincons Group stand in Hall 3, booth 3-267 throughout the event.

Like all of Fincons’ proprietary solutions, the innovative Meter to Cash platform was developed after in-depth consultation with existing vertical sector clients and is thus based on real market needs.

It is scalable and easy to tailor to several business processes. Unlike other solutions currently available on the market, its user-friendly design provides business users with full visibility and enables first-hand management of data and rules with very low IT support.

The platform helps Energy&Utilities significantly reduce CAPEX and OPEX management costs and regulatory adjustment times, also promoting evolution processes for business requirements.

Fincons’ Meter to Cash platform is a modern technological solution based on a microservices Cloud architecture and an open platform with APIs and web services. It is highly flexible, interoperable and easily integrates with other systems. In addition to this, the platform can be integrated with Fincons’ Utility Virtual Clerk (UVC), a tool that leverages Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to optimize and automate repetitive, low value-add back-office activities.

The solution also provides a detailed calculation log to access granular-level calculation operations and facilitate analysis and issue ticketing. One of its key design advantages is user-friendliness that empowers business users to configure generic or customized billing algorithm configuration themselves in both retail and large segments without the need for specific IT skills. The solution enables users to finally take complete charge of processes by offering user-configurable invoice templates, customizable by product, customer or sales company. Finally, the system uses features and algorithms provided for billing to determine budgets and forecasts, thus enabling accurate decision making based on predicted future scenarios.

“The M2C platform is the latest solution in our family of proprietary products and we are delighted to be able to showcase its key benefits for the Energy & Utilities sector to this specialist audience at E-World 2022. Although we already have been making waves in the German markets, with important new energy clients choosing our products, we are confident that this event will prove to be the ideal launchpad for the M2C platform whose credentials speak for themselves: proven opex and capex reduction, efficiency and speed are all key differentiators in today’s competitive energy market,” comments Simone Villa, General Manager Global BU Energy & Utilities, Director AMPPER Product Center at Fincons Group.
