France has the wind in its sails at E-world energy & water

French exhibitors will be represented for the first time on a joint stand at E-world 2018. Acting on behalf of the national Agency for the Internationalisation of French Business (Business France) and the public investment bank Bpifrance, a five-man panel of experts has now chosen the ten most innovative French start-ups and SMEs to take part in the fields of Energy Market, Smart Grids and Energy Efficiency.

France is the leading country in Europe for investment in Smart Grids and has major R&D capacity. Several dozen pilot schemes and over 100 Smart-Grid projects are currently underway in France.

In France, Smart Grids achieve sales of three billion Euros with 50% going to exports. In view of this booming sector, French companies have set themselves the goal of increasing turnover to six billion Euros by 2020, and creating 25,000 jobs.

During the trade fair, the French companies involved will attend discussions related to this topic which will take place on 7 February 2018.
