It is NRW.Energy4Climate’s mission to support North Rhine-Westphalia in its aim to become climate-neutral as quickly as possible. At E-world, the state-based organisation for energy and climate protection will set out how this goal can be achieved.
On 21 June, to mark the opening day of the E-world trade fair, NRW.Energy4Climate will host its first Zukunftskongress, or Future Conference. A range of expert talks and keynote speeches, a panel discussion and specialist forums in the afternoon will address the question of how climate protection and the energy transition can be accelerated in North Rhine-Westphalia. The state-based organisation will also be represented at North Rhine-Westphalia’s pavilion in Hall 3 from 21 to 23 June, giving visitors the opportunity to learn all about NRW.Energy4Climate’s objectives and mission.
Ulf C. Reichardt, Chairman of the Board: “Protecting the climate is the most urgent challenge of our times. We were established as a state-based organisation in order to advance climate protection projects throughout North Rhine-Westphalia – whether in the energy, manufacturing, heating or mobility sectors, and at company or municipal level. We invite all interested parties to participate in our exchange of ideas. After all, sustainable climate protection can only be achieved by working together.”
An interactive map of North Rhine-Westphalia at NRW.Energy4Climate’s stand will indicate which technologies are of key importance for a climate-neutral industrial sector in the state and which solutions are already being tested in model projects. By using augmented reality, visitors will be able to go on a journey of discovery through the industrial state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
On the second day of the trade fair (22 June), NRW.Energy4Climate’s Chairman and Managing Director, Ulf C. Reichardt and Samir Khayat, will be available to speak to the press at the organisation’s stand from 10 a.m. to midday (Hall 3, North Rhine-Westphalia pavilion). All interested parties are welcome to attend.

NRW.Energy4Climate is North Rhine-Westphalia’s state-based organisation for energy and climate protection. As a central point of contact, it brings together all available expertise and resources in the four sectors with the highest emissions: energy, industry, heating and buildings, and mobility. Collectively, they account for more than 90 per cent of NRW’s greenhouse gas emissions. The aim is to accelerate the transformation process across all sectors, allowing North Rhine-Westphalia to become climate-neutral as quickly as possible and, at the same time, to strengthen its position as a future location for industry and services.
