Swedish Energy Pavilion Showcases Innovative Cleantech Solutions

Essen, 23 May 2023 – Sweden is considered one of the most innovative countries in the European Union and ranks third worldwide according to the Global Innovation Index. While at the forefront of the transition to a sustainable economy, Sweden recognizes the significance of international cooperation to achieve this goal.

Since 2014, the Swedish Energy Agency has closely collaborated with Germany to promote innovation through knowledge exchange and facilitate cooperation in the green energy sector. Germany is Sweden's largest trade partner and a leading industrial player globally. Both countries have set ambitious sustainability goals and understand the importance of working together to attain them.

In the Swedish Energy Pavilion at E-world energy & water 2023, visitors can explore the vision of Swedish cleantech innovators for a sustainable society.

Furthermore, three sessions have been scheduled to offer a comprehensive overview of Sweden's sustainability initiatives and provide tangible ideas for German-Swedish collaboration:

  • 23 May, 16:00 – 18:00: Get Together in the Swedish Energy Pavilion (Hall 5, booth 5-702).
  • 24 May, 10:00 – 11:30: Event at the Change Forum (Hall 5), including presentations of the Swedish Energy Agency and the exhibiting Swedish companies, as well as a panel discussion.
  • 24 May, 16:00 – 18:00: Get Together in the Swedish Energy Pavilion (Hall 5, booth 5-702).

Participate in the Change Forum to discover Sweden's transition to a green economy and how Industry 4.0 is driving progress towards a more intelligent, efficient, and productive future. About the German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce

The German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce is since 1951 the central point of contact to promote the development of German and Swedish trade and business relations. It is part of the German chamber of commerce network and well connected with companies, authorities, and institutional partners. The services include finding and matching business partners, distributors, sales agents, and importers. Since 2014 the German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce is running the ‘German Program’ in cooperation with the Swedish Energy Agency, helping Swedish cleantech-companies expand into the German market. This includes individual business partner brokerages, intercultural coaching, delegation trips to Germany, market analyses and activities on trade fairs.
