E-world energy & water launches digital networking platform

E-world energy & water 2021 presents comprehensive digital services to supplement the presence fair. The E-world Community will provide the industry with a new platform for sustainable networking all year round. In addition to the preparation of the trade fair visit with exhibitor and visitor profiles, web sessions and networking events are also parts of the concept. The start for exhibitors will take place before the end of this year, while visitors can register from mid-January 2021. Top-class program items will further activate the platform in the first quarter of 2021.

The extensive digital platform is open to all interested users. Exhibitors of the fair will receive a profile with their registration, visitors can register at any time from mid-January onwards. The structure resembles a social network. However, the E-world Community offers considerably more extensive and above all more targeted functions. It is the digital accompaniment of one’s trade fair participation. The platform increases effectiveness through greater transparency and numerous communication options.

The functions of the community are diverse and intelligent

Companies use their profile to present their products and services and supplement them with contact persons. Visitors enter their product interests, requests and contact details in their profile. The platform enables exhibitors and visitors to network with each other. In addition, the community's digital marketplace offers participants not only additional presentation and information opportunities, but also regular contact and product suggestions tailored to their personal interests.

In order to turn these matches into new partners, the community offers all participants a variety of features to get in touch with each other. For direct interaction, the platform provides functions such as private chats or video meetings. Appointments for in-person meetings at the trade fair can also be easily arranged and transferred to one’s own calendar. In this way, the platform simplifies the planning of individual trade fair visits.

Make new contacts in web sessions

Additional inspiration is provided by an extensive digital lecture program. Here, experts provide insights into current developments, challenges and projects in the industry. Following the events, each lasting around two hours, there will be an opportunity for digital "speed dating" with other listeners to boost exchange on the topic and make new contacts.

We offer our participants not only a digital platform and greater reach, but also real added value and a meaningful supplement to E-world as an on-site trade fair – all year round".

The (digital) industry meeting place 365 days a year

The E-world Community will be accessible for exhibitors before the end of this year to prepare their own presentation. In the first quarter of 2021, the launch will then follow for all users. The platform is not only a supportive solution for the next E-world, but is to remain in place all year round in future. "We see great potential in this digital platform to bring the industry even closer together. It will therefore be available to exhibitors and visitors for the next years and will be expanded with additional functions," explains Sabina Großkreuz, also E-world Managing Director. Digital event highlights in spring and summer 2021 are already being planned.
