E world is promoting innovations for the energy sector

The trade visitors to E world energy & water 2018 from February 6 to 8 are experiencing what the future of the energy sector will look like. At Messe Essen, the leading energy trade fair in Europe is concentrating on new solutions for everything to do with the energy supply of tomorrow. Moreover, one of the future fields in the sector is being extended with the content-related focus on the "Smart City" for the first time. In the growing subject area of innovation, E world is promoting new ideas and companies in an absolutely targeted way. On the third day of the fair, the Career Forum is inviting students and graduates to the fair free of charge with a top-class lecture programme and further career-promoting ranges on offer.

Innovative and digital solutions are altering the energy sector. This development is being taken into account by the Digital Energy Award which is distinguishing new and customer-friendly digital solutions in three categories. On the second day of the E world fair, it is being announced what companies have been able to convince the jury and are winning as prizes an app promotion workshop by google, an innovation workshop staged by innogy, augmented reality glasses and, in each case, Euro 2,000 in prize money.

With the "Innovation" theme world in Hall 7, E world is promoting young, innovative companies in a targeted way. The concept of the joint booth is offering start-ups and founders of firms the opportunity to establish important contacts to investors and industrial representatives. Pitches are extending the possibilities for young companies to present themselves, to get to know possible business partners and to exchange ideas with experts in the sector.

Together with the energieloft innovation network, E world is offering a Business Speed Dating event to founders of firms in order to present their concepts in front of potential capital providers, investors or cooperation partners. Start-ups were able to register for participation on February 6 or 7, 2018 online. For both these days, the young entrepreneurs are receiving two tickets for the fair free of charge.

Knowledge Transfer and Exchange of Ideas for the Market Leaders of Tomorrow

The range on offer is being supplemented by podium discussions and workshops for young companies as well as by their own forum.
