The June date for Europe's leading trade fair for the energy industry has met with broad approval in the industry. The vast majority of exhibitors have already expressed their support for an event in June and the date from June 21 to 23, 2022 is thus fixed. "We are still in close dialogue with our exhibitors and still await further feedback, but we can already schedule around 90 per cent of the booked exhibition space for the June date. We are very grateful for this positive feedback, the solidarity and the support we are experiencing and look forward to finally welcoming exhibitors and visitors back to Messe Essen in summer," say the two Managing Directors of E-world GmbH, Stefanie Hamm and Sabina Großkreuz.
International and national joint stands, including Sweden and France, confirmed their participation in the June event. The Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) also supports the summer date by keeping the funding for young innovative companies that want to switch from February to June uncomplicated and without having to reapply.
Visitors can expect an extensive conference program
The organizers are also moving E-world’s top-class conference program to the June event. Conferences such as the Energy Leadership Meeting or the Fibre Optic Forum will again provide trade visitors and exhibitors with numerous impulses for their business, as will the program at the additional forums. Tickets for the June event will soon be available via the E-world ticket shop.
Digital platform shortens waiting time
With the E-world Community, the fair offers a customized online platform that shortens the waiting time until the next on-site event and connects the industry. A varied, informative digital program, plenty of space for networking and numerous cooperation opportunities await users there. Registration is free of charge.
February trade fair date lacks popularity
Currently, trade fairs in North-Rhine-Westfalia – such as E-world energy & water – are permitted under 3G (vaccinated, recovered or tested). Exhibitors who want to stick to the original February date, have the opportunity to present their solutions at Messe Essen from February 8 to 10, 2022. However, due to the currently valid regulations of most utilities regarding business travel and meetings, the organizers expect few visitors in February. "On the other hand, we are sure that the visitors’ interest in June will be strong again as usual," say Großkreuz and Hamm. This is also confirmed by companies such as Uniper: "We associate a postponement to June 21 to 23, 2022 with the hope of an improvement in the current pandemic situation towards the summer and therefore support the organizers in this effort," says a spokesperson for the long-standing E-world exhibitor.
