Energy Prospects for the Future During the Lunch Break

Take a break and take a look into the future: this is the opportunity offered by the Lunch Breaks taking place in the E-world Community from September 9 to 13. Under the title "Sustainable Power: Green Power Plants for the Energy Transition", the focus will be on various aspects of sustainable energy generation. The webinars in the series are each scheduled to last one hour and therefore fit perfectly into the lunch break. To participate, simply register on the website.

In the midst of a rapidly changing energy market, Germany faces the urgent challenge of transforming its energy infrastructure in a sustainable manner. The power plant strategy adopted by the German government aims to overcome dependence on fossil fuels in various phases and drive forward the energy transition by increasing the use of renewable sources. The transition to green power plants entails both technological and economic challenges, but at the same time opens up significant opportunities for innovation and environmental awareness. To support this process, the power plant series in the E-world Community offers insights into the latest developments, technologies and best practices.

  • Monday, September 9: Intelligent decentralized energy systems - the power plants of today
  • Tuesday, September 10: multiTESS - The multifunctional thermal energy storage system for the heat transition in industry
  • Thursday, September 12: How AI reduces unplanned downtimes in power and heat generation and makes maintenance easier to plan
  • Friday, September 13: Combined heat and power generation in heating networks and with hydrogen: Review, insights and outlook from research

All webinars in the series start at 12 noon and last approximately one hour. Further information and the opportunity to register free of charge can be found at https://community.e-world-essen.com/p/Kraftwerkreihe.
