International representatives obtain information at E-world 2018

The Consulates Day at E world energy & water on February 7, 2018 is focusing on chances and challenges relating to all aspects of smart cities and megacities. On the guiding subject of "Innovations for Urban Life - Smart Cities and Megacities", the organisers are offering a lecture programme with milestones from the political and economic fields on the second day of the fair. The programme is being supplemented by the subsequent guided tours on the topics of "Smart City" and "Renewable Energies". Europe's premier fair in the energy industry has invited ambassadors, consuls general, consuls, economic attachés as well as employees of economic development companies and chambers of foreign trade. The interest is expected to be great: Amongst others, representatives from the USA, Tanzania, Serbia, Turkey and Italy have registered.

In the morning, the participants will firstly attend the lecture programme dealing with everything to do with innovations for living in cities. Under the heading "An International View into the Future: Smart Cities – Smart Ideas", they will receive the newest information about the energy industry in the context of digital urban developments. Cooperation measures as well as visionary model projects and plans will be presented in the following lectures. Diverse subjects from the construction of new buildings and the integration of an intelligent city right up to sustainable buildings and transport will offer new food for thought and provide stimuli for action.

Opportunity to Exchange Experience and to Carry Out Networking

In the afternoon, two guided tours of the fair on the subjects of "Smart City" and "Renewable Energies" are establishing direct contacts between exhibitors at E-world and participants in the Consulates Day: Selected companies are presenting themselves with their portfolios and reference projects. When visiting the joint booth called "E world Innovation" in Hall 7, the participants are experiencing trendsetting solutions for the energy sector. There, around 60 start-ups and research establishments are presenting their pioneering products and technologies, including virtual power stations, smart metering, energy data collection, energy trading software and cloud solutions as well as services such as risk management.

With the Consulates Day, the organisers of E world are offering the opportunity for the international transfer of knowledge, for the exchange of experience and for networking amongst experts.
