Europe's leading energy trade fair E-world energy & water is in great demand internationally: Delegates from more than 25 nations - including Israel, Sweden, Kuwait and Cuba - came to today's Day of Consulates at Messe Essen to find out about new solutions for energy supply. Europe's leading trade fair for the energy industry had invited ambassadors, consuls general, consuls, business attachés as well as employees of economic development agencies and chambers of foreign trade for this purpose.
The partcipants of the Day of Consulates received exclusive insights into innovations in the energy sector. For example, experts from SINTEG projects presented the program of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, in which model solutions for a secure and environmentally friendly energy supply are being developed in model regions throughout Germany. In two guided tours of the trade fair the participants were then able to make important contacts with selected exhibitors.
By Thursday, around 800 exhibitors - a new record - will be presenting innovative products and services in the fields of energy generation, trade, transport, storage and efficiency at Messe Essen. Under the focal point "Smart City", the companies will show how producers and consumers can be efficiently networked with each other so that energy consumption is minimized.
E-world is open to trade visitors on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Journalists are welcome to visit the Press Center West, where you can also obtain accreditation. Further information and images can be found at e-world-essen.com/en/press/images-and-logos and in the Media Center of Messe Essen.
