Electromobility ecosystem: standardizations for a dynamic market?
Electromobility is on the threshold from a niche model to a dynamic market. This is not simply about e-cars and charging infrastructure. Electromobility is creating a new ecosystem, the success of which is linked to a good interplay between electric vehicles, charging infrastructure and power grids and thrives on innovative and customer-oriented ideas and services.
One particularly present building block of this ecosystem is the international standard ISO 15118, which, depending on its version and if implemented correctly, offers such customer-oriented innovation by offering Plug&Charge to customers and, in perspective, the Vehicle-to-Grid function for bidirectional charging. For the successful implementation of the standard, there are still challenges that need to be addressed, e.g. the creation of new, non-discriminatory market processes for all players involved. Together with experts from the National Platform Future of Mobility, we would like to discuss the opportunities and challenges for the successful implementation of ISO 15118 from the different industry perspectives.
Please note: The session will be held in German only.
