In order to broaden opportunities to enter the environment and energy-related industries, which is one of the growing industries that will solve social issues in cities, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) supports Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Tokyo with advanced technologies and products to exhibit in international trade fairs regarding environment and energy-related industries.

As a part of this initiative, the Tokyo Pavilion will exhibit at E-world energy & water 2024. Since the period of rapid economic growth in Japan, the TMG has dealt with environmental problems such as air and water pollution and waste. Tokyo's air quality has improved dramatically due to diesel vehicle regulations implemented ahead of the government of Japan. Tokyo, with the cooperation of businesses, has also achieved significant results by introducing the world's first urban cap-and-trade system, in 2010 as a measure to combat climate change.

Furthermore, the TMG is accelerating its efforts to achieve Carbon Half goal, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030, with the goal of achieving “Zero-Emission Tokyo” to contribute to achieve virtually zero CO2 emissions in the globe by 2050.

Tokyo, the capital city of Japan, aims to become a green and resilient global city that is sustainable, safe, secure, comfortable, and opens up the future.

Please visit the Tokyo Pavilion to meet the technologies and products of the leading Japanese Industries in Tokyo, to realize a capable enterprise in Tokyo, and to consider collaborating with the SMEs in Tokyo.
