E-world is the leading trade fair of the European energy industry. This is impressively reflected by the current booking status. For the coming edition from February 20 to 22, 2024, at Messe Essen, 90 percent of the area of 2023 has already been booked. It is thus becoming apparent that the trade fair will seamlessly follow on from the record of 820 exhibitors from 27 nations set this year. Halls 1 to 3 are already fully booked. The well-known industry giants as well as innovative start-ups, institutions and associations will be there. An overview of all registered companies can be found in the current hall plan on the E-world website.
"We are pleased to return to the usual date with E-world 2024 and to bring the energy industry together again at the start of the year in Essen. The excellent level of bookings clearly shows what significant relevance the trade fair has for the industry. This is where solutions for the implementation of the energy turnaround and a climate-friendly future are discussed," explains Stefanie Hamm, Managing Director of E-world GmbH. Her management colleague Sabina Großkreuz adds: "Through the right offers, we provide Europe's most important platform for intensive discussions, exchange of knowledge and opinions, as well as efficient networking. To this end, we are also specifically promoting innovative exhibition areas in 2024."
One example of this is the Hydrogen Solutions exhibition area. Hydrogen is currently the subject of much discussion in the industry. The strong interest in the topic has led to the special area for E-world 2024 being doubled in size. A total of 1,500 square meters are now available for companies and institutions to show their solutions around this important energy carrier. The development of the area is clearly visible in the hall plan: For reasons of space, the area is moving from Hall 2 to Hall 5.
The innovation area has been completely revised. It is positioned in Hall 4 in 2024; the exhibitors show many more creative ideas for the climate-friendly future of energy and water supply. Bayern Innovativ and Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH are presenting themselves in this context with joint stands. In addition, Sweden and Japan will be represented with joint country stands, thus highlighting the transnational, international character of the industry show.
