In November, DEIF in Skive celebrated its 90th birthday at a festive reception at the registry office in Skive. It took place in the new electronics factory, which was almost finished.
Now we are ready to cut the ribbon and officially inaugurate the new, state-of-the-art factory - this will happen at an event on January 4, where all employees in Denmark and involved external partners are invited.
For DEIF, it is a major milestone, which will undoubtedly bring DEIF to the forefront with an efficient, competitive and scalable production that is geared for growth. The establishment in Skive supports the strategy of maintaining production and full control over the company's value chain in Denmark. The new factory is built with a great focus on sustainability and employee well-being and makes use of the latest technology and automation, including robots that take care of all transport of goods internally in the factory.
The factory will help to strengthen DEIF's global position and deliver even more products and solutions that contribute to the green transition in the energy sector. At the same time, it must be a beacon with a focus on technology, innovation and good working conditions, which form the basis for the creation of attractive workplaces.
Chanette N. Oksborg Pedersen, who is factory director, says:
"The factory is the result of a huge effort from many colleagues and external partners over the past several months, and I am incredibly proud that we have now reached our goal. Now our task is to take advantage of the opportunities the new factory and our new concept provide, and to further develop technology and methods so that we are also at the forefront in 5 and 10 years."
