NAFTA operates on three key markets – Germany, Austria and Slovakia. 2024 will mark the 5th year of NAFTA’s presence in Germany, where it confirmed its reputation as a skilled and reliable gas storage operator through its subsidiary, NAFTA Speicher Inzenham. In Slovakia, NAFTA's strategic proximity to Austria, coupled with a direct connection to VTP Austria, positions it as the storage of choice for international customers.
The highlight of this year's showcase is the sale of almost 5 TWh of storage capacity at the Inzenham storage facility. NAFTA remains committed to introducing new services for its customers. NAFTA Speicher Inzenham will see further rollout of additional services, enhancing the customer experience and broadening storage options.
In Slovakia, NAFTA unveils the Gas-in-store financing support service. This highly demanded offering facilitates more accessible financing through a trilateral agreement between NAFTA, the customer, and the bank, demonstrating NAFTA's dedication to client-centric solutions.
The popular Inverse Storage product has been reintroduced to allow the customers to capitalize on unconventional market settings. The service provides customers with a full storage account at the commencement of the storage period, with gas ready to be withdrawn from day one.
NAFTA has also updated its Rules of Operation, bringing it up to date with today’s market standards and streamlining the process of closing storage contracts.
Alongside these innovations, NAFTA continues to offer well-established additional services. Customers can enhance their storage product with features such as Day-Ahead Injection and Withdrawal Rates, Additional Delivery Point, and Transfer of Gas in the Storage Facility.
