The nation's innovation leadership thrives on a collaborative ecosystem that fosters the exchange of ideas, backed by robust government support through policies and funding. Rooted in a culture highly valuing sustainability and entrepreneurship, Sweden's commitment to research and development, an inclusive work culture, and a collaborative mindset further fuels the cultivation of creativity and the emergence of groundbreaking solutions.
The Swedish Energy Agency, fostering bilateral collaboration in Germany since 2014, actively promotes knowledge exchange in key areas such as heating and cooling, smart cities, mobility, and industrial transition between Germany and Sweden.

About the German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce
The German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce is since 1951 the central point of contact for promoting the development of German and Swedish trade and business relations. It is part of the German chamber of commerce network and well connected with companies, authorities, and institutional partners. The services include finding and matching business partners, distributors, sales agents, and importers. Since 2014 the German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce is running the German accelerator program in cooperation with the Swedish Energy Agency, helping Swedish cleantech companies expand into the German market. This includes individual business partner match-making, intercultural coaching, delegation trips to Germany, market analyses and activities at trade fairs.
