E-world informs about sustainable heat supply

Essen, November 17, 2022

On Monday, November 21, the new "Green Heat" event series of E-world energy & water will be launched. With the online events, Europe's leading trade fair for the energy industry offers the opportunity to learn about new heating concepts for industry, neighborhoods and private households. In a total of five entertaining sessions at lunchtime, experts will present examples of how the heat supply can be sustainably transformed. The events will take place virtually on the digital networking platform E-world Community.

With this series of events, E-world is already giving a preview of the trade fair that will take place from May 23 to 25. Because at E-world 2023 heat topics play a large role. The heat turnaround is an essential part of the energy turnaround and, under the current circumstances, more topical than ever. Thus, among others, the exhibitors 2G Energy, bmp greengas, Bundesverband Kraft-Wärme-Kopplung, EC Power, EEHH Clusteragentur, Kraftwerke Kraft-Wärme-Kopplung, Landwärme, Rolls-Royce Solutions and Sokratherm will present their products and services in this segment.

Stefanie Hamm, Managing Director of E-world GmbH: "The enormous increase in energy costs as well as ambitious decarbonization targets pose huge challenges, especially in the heating sector. With our lunch break sessions, we make an active contribution to knowledge transfer and show valuable best practice solutions especially to energy professionals from municipal utilities, energy suppliers, plant engineering or urban planning." Her management colleague Sabina Großkreuz adds: "We are pleased that we have been able to win well-known partners from the energy industry as speakers. This offers real added value to the participants."

Lunch break sessions program ranges from CHP to contracting

Each day of the week will focus on one approach. The series kicks off on Monday, November 21, with the topic "Multi-talented CHP - Key figure in a regenerative power and heat supply". Tuesday, November 22, will be devoted to contracting with green heat. The role of deep geothermal energy in Germany's future climate-neutral heat supply is on the agenda on Wednesday, November 23. On Thursday, November 24, the topic is "More storage, less natural gas: green and affordable process heat with thermal storage". The series of events concludes on Friday, Nov. 25, with information on energy-efficient buildings and the possibility of digitization and heat pumps in new and existing buildings. The online lunch break sessions begin at 12 p.m. each day, and attendance is free. Program partners are the Association for Energy Services, Efficiency and Contracting (VEDEC), E.ON Energy Solutions, Energynest, Sokratherm and the Geothermie Allianz Bayern.
